Black bean buckwheat soup






I like the recipe for black bean soup that is on the Good Seasonings Italian dressing packets. It calls for rice but i used a quarter of a cup of kasha ( roasted buckwheat) instead. It was delicious.




Two cans of Swanson's chicken bouillon



Two cans of Black beans (undrained)



Chopped onion and celery



Salt and pepper



One packet of Good Seasoning Italian dressing



Olive oil




Sautee chopped vegetables in the olive oil



Add all canned items and salt and pepper and seasoning packet



Bring to a boil, add one quarter of a cup of kasha, cover and simmer on low for ten minutes
