Our youngest graduated from high school last weekend and soon hubby and I will have an empty nest. It is bittersweet for me as I have been raising kids for 34 years and it has always been my number 1 priority...I am thankful for the kids I was privileged to raise and delighted at the way they have turned out.
YEAH for BRAD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Here he is with his big brothers!

Don't think of it as an empty nest, think of it as a nest with a little more room in it.
Nice way to turn it around...THANKS. HUGS
Congrats to Brad are in order!
I have been an empty nester for about 6 years. That doesn't stop them from coming home to hang out every now and then, as you know. My daughter had gotten divorced and moved back in with me for 9 months awhile back. The son...eh...he'd prolly choose to be on a friend's couch before he moved back home. However, that does not stop him from coming over to do laundry and go out to eat every couple of weeks!
