Apple pecan tortilla yummy thing!

I was in the experimenting mood so I took a soft corn tortilla and wrapped it around some peeled cut up apple slices and heated it in my Hamilton Beach small appliance that either makes waffles or things that look like hot pockets.
It heated the apples nicely and made the tortilla almost crepe-like. Then I put it on a plate and cut it up and added some coarsely cut up pecans that I had heated in the microwave for 1 min. and finished with a drizzle of syrup. That's it! It looks fancy and tastes delish!

I have a new grandson...Andrew James! Star had her baby a week ago and I learned about it on the INTERNET. Oh well, life's a challenge at times, and I wanted a challenge when I adopted her at age five...be careful what you wish for...LOL...I tried to call her but her phone was disconnected...speaking of disconnected..........any ways...I have a new grandson! That's all that matters.

I have been working at our diner a lot lately...hence the pic me in the kitchen...SALLY THE WAITRESS Personae...

Thanks for listening. HUGS!

Thanks so much FM...I feel good. My hair is long, the biking made me feel like a teen, and I stick close to the eating I should be doing...yeah! I would love to lose about 50 pounds, and should, but hey...it is not a #1 priority...I do like to eat. HA! HUGS

Sally the Waitress - Love it!

I love how you experiment with food. Where there's creativity, there's no deprivation.

Congrats on the new grandbaby!!

What exactly is your Hamilton Beach small appliance? I do not have any room for a waffle maker but I am interested in things that help add variety to my meals.
