I made Hodgson Mill Gluten Free with milled flax seed Pancakes this morning and added frozen blueberries and cinnamon and vanilla and get this...I used water for the liquid...they were great...especially topped with blueberry preserves that have no sugar added.
Berry Berry Barry good!

Lynn I am so glad to have found your blog. I have been recently diagnosed with Hashimoto's and am looking for ways to naturally improve my health and stabilize my condition. I am not severe and am so thankful to have found it early. I am looking into the Gluten free diet but I think I need to buy a good book as I dont understand it all. Thank you so much for your posts. Connie
Connie,
Oh my goodness, hello! I am delighted to meet you...I am in with people who have celiacs disease and figured I was just intolerant of many substances...BUT I had the surgery and discovered I have Hashimoto's and it destroyed part of my thyroid...well any way...welcome aboard...I will pass on what I have learned so far.The following are (suggested) no nos for you and me: gluten, casein, tea (herbal is ok), alcohol, caffeine, raw veggies like cabbage, broccoli, cauliflower, brussel sprouts, raw strawberries, and raw peaches, artificial sweeteners, sugar, iron, fluoride, soy, oh I think I am out of remembering but heck that's a lot to take in...don't be afraid...these no nos are meant to be helpful to curb Hashimoto attacks on the thyroid.
E-mail me anytime, if you want to.
HUGS,
Lynn
